I point the remote at the TV and turn it off, Teddy’s line of vision quickly changing direction. “Come on, let’s go,” I smirk and get up before pulling her up too. She looks at me probably judging if I’ve gone crazy or if she is imagining everything since it’s getting late and we’ve achieved absolutely nothing today other than lazing around. I press a quick kiss to the corner of her mouth and pull her with me towards the entrance.
“Come on, Lo” I shout rousing the pup awake. I pull Teddy’s coat off of the hanger and help her put it on. She might not actually need one, but I’m taking no precautions these days. Her due date is getting closer by the moment and her stomach unbelievably continues to grow, though I expect she won’t get that much bigger. If she does, we might have to get a wheelchair. I practically push her out the door and usher her towards the car while Lola is far ahead the both of us and past the car as well. “Lola!” I shout as we make our way to the car and she comes running. “Come on, girl,” I say opening the trunk, “We’re going for a ride.” She jumps in and I slam the door shut walking around the car to help Teddy safely sit down.

Now him practically dragging me out of bed and pushing me out the door is a little unsettling. “What has gotten into you?” I demand with a huff as he ushers me to the car. Instead of answering me though, he calls Lola over and gets her situated. Seriously, what has gotten into him? I frown as he opens the door for me to get in, but I crawl in anyways because if I ask a question now, he’s sure to not answer it.
“Ready? Ready for what?” I ask, watching him as he climbs into the driver’s seat and slides the key into the ignition. Of course I receive no answer, just a mischievous smile plastered across his face. Now he knows how I feel about surprises, so this is driving me absolutely insane. The fact that he hasn’t answered the five other questions I asked regarding where the hell were were headed makes me want to strangle him.
“Henry!” I shout, getting his attention as he prepares to pull out of the driveway. “What the hell are we doing?”
I mouth a no and shake my head from side to side, although, the motion seems to make me feel even more nauseous. I...
After consulting Lola on the matter, or rather have her love me unconditionally, I walk back into the now empty bedroom...
